When designing the Nihonto Octa braided line, Mikado aimed to create a product that not only provided excellent knot strength — it also had to be particularly soft, smooth, and abrasion-resistant. Thanks to the very tightly twisted eight microfibers, this line is perfectly round and gentle, while the thermally treated outer layer makes it smooth and quieter as it glides through the rings. The wide range of colors and lengths allows everyone to find the right Octa for their favorite spot and fishing method.
